Summary
Ivan is in love with Till, and he’s certain that the feeling isn’t mutual for a staggering number of reasons he finds jotted down in red ink in his mind—and literally in his personal journal. Taking his best friend’s morally questionable advice, he decides to accept Mizi’s help, and together they concoct a “true love spell.” The boy doesn’t believe in magic or other superstitions, but practicing magic with his friend couldn’t hurt, could it? It’s not as if Mizi is hiding from him that Till feels the same way and is just giving them a gentle nudge in the right direction. How much harm can magic do if they’re already meant to be together?
