“Okay, ouch,” Jake finally says. “I could absolutely get a married woman. Especially Santiago! What’s more, I’ll bet I can do it.”
Instead of the round of cheers he expected, everyone around him groans. Even Charles, his near-permanent hype-man. For most people, that would be a sign that he just had a really bad idea. Not for Jake though.
