Summary
“Why Plastic Man?” Hal asked.
“He’s on monitor duty right now,” the Bat didn’t even sound out of breath. He was typing something out on some sort of communicator device he had pulled from his belt. It looked like a phone, but a bit bulkier. He put a hand to his comm and switched it on, so the three heroes with him heard both his actual voice and the echo of it in their ears. Though Batman was clearly trying to reach Clark, Diana, and Barry, it threw Hal off balance for a second.
“The intruder is not dangerous. Do not engage.”
Hal was just disoriented enough that he kept running, spurred on by the fact that, despite his message, Batman was still sprinting down the halls. The three of them reached the medbay, and Batman came to an abrupt halt, the other three skidding to a stop beside him. Standing there, covered in blood, was Nightwing.
OR
The Bats gather on the Watchtower. Tensions are high. The JL just wants to know what the hell is going on.

“Who the hell is this?” Hal taps on his own comms. Bruce looks around at the others, heart sinking as understanding sets in.
“Robin, did you hack the Justice League comms to ask Superman over for dinner?” he asks, trying to keep his voice level.
“Well,” Dick replies, with all the implacable logic of a ten-year-old, “You turned off the emergency batline.”
OR
Clark (kind of) comes back from the dead. Bruce doesn't know how to handle it. Luckily, Dick is there to help.

Another one of those classic Nightwing gets voted as a new member of the Justice League, while others speculate about his relationship with the Bat. Of course, they come to the wrong conclusion.

Summary
Dick is recruited by the Justice League while Bruce is absent. Jason is simultaneously detained by the JL while Batman is away.
Anyway that’s how Nightwing speedruns going from JL’s newest recruit to top of their most wanted list (a fact Jason is still salty about since he’s now in second place). Anyway, they’re both getting grounded when Bruce gets home. Assuming the JL don’t catch up to them first.Series
