Summary
Takes place around 2008-2009, when Johnny and Morrissey would've realistically met up again.
Johnny and Angie are having marital troubles. Johnny keeps his strong passion for music and songwriting whereas Angie wants him to be a more present in their family. It doesn't help that their two teenagers are already away most of the time, Nile because of his band and Sonny because of her social life. A spontaneous meeting sparks a revival of a friendship, and something more, eventually building up into a Smiths reunion tour.
This is (slightly) old man yaoi so if it's not your thing you can interpret it however you like. But for reference, these characters are all around their 40s at this point and look like how they would look in 2008. If you want a good idea of how that would look find some interviews from the 2000s of the characters.
