"Hyung—" Sangwon froze. Anxin never used that tone with him.
"I'm here," Sangwon whispered.
"Don't leave," Anxin murmured, his voice so soft it was barely a breath. "Please... don't leave."
Sangwon felt a sharp pang in his chest, a tightening that made it hard to breathe. He didn't know why this boy was so terrified, but he shifted closer, letting his own scent wrap around Anxin like a blanket.
But when the sun rose and the fever broke, the walls slammed back into place. Anxin woke up and immediately pushed Sangwon away, his eyes cold and distant.
"I told you I was fine," Anxin said, his voice rasping. "You didn't have to do any of this."
Sangwon's mouth dropped open.

Geonwoo, watching from the other side, let out a frustrated growl. He pushed himself forward, his hand reaching for Anxin. “Anxin, come here.” His voice was low, possessive, a challenge to Sangwon. "Hyung will help."
