    I take Wild Life Grian and switch him with Midnight Strangers Grian. I'm not the first or the best person to do this, but I was struck by divine motivation, and you don't pass that up when you get it.

    Castiel had just finished up his first solo case with Jack, and it had gone…better than expected, to say the very least. Jack hadn’t accidentally killed anyone so that was definitely an up side. They were now on their way one, still several hours out but still on their way. When all of a sudden there was a blinding flash of light as a glowing streak of white and orange light appeared in the middle of the road in front of the truck.

    A rift to another universe. And through it tumbles a body.

    Castiel immediately slams on the breaks, a wave of panic washing over him. Because in his experience these rifts are never good news.
