Ilya was lost for words. The shame had gripped onto his chest and was squeezing him tightly. His breathing felt short. He felt a storm of emotion swell in him, and as he tried to keep a neutral expression he felt tears collect on his waterline.
"Do I deserve that, Rozanov?" Shane demanded an answer.
"No." He spat out.
