Summary
When he left the cabin, it was already much harder to walk, let alone breathe. Small clouds of hot breath escaped Sherlock's throat, but he couldn’t inhale nearly as much. Not having to run this time was a benefit, and he could choose the easiest way to get back - to where, exactly? a hospital, probably - but Sherlock quickly found his adrenaline was fading, and so was his strength. Leaning on the rifle he’d been carrying for additional support, the walk was slow and painful.
Set directly after Prey Tell (big surprise given that title). I always thought we moved on too quickly from Sherlock, well, being goddamn shot.

His outie, his other self, whatever — he's not a good liar, he wears everything on his sleeve, flaunts it even, and forgets to pay attention to who is over him, watching it all, and what they could do to him. He's not a good liar, but Mark is; it's an important skill, and by now Mark can do it on instinct.

i love putting characters through sensory deprivation #sorrynotsorry and it's literally so easy to think of a way to do it with Mark so here you go
