Summary
Liverpool was John. London was also John. New York was only John. The whole world was John, really. The places he’d been with John far outnumbered those he’d been without and even those he’d been without him were still coloured by the lack of his presence. Paul was beginning to realise that John would follow him around until the day he died.
A few days after John's death, Paul goes for a late-night cab ride around Liverpool and reflects on the man he's loved and lost.
