Uma das primeiras memórias que Eduarda tinha era do seu pai brincando. Momentos com casas da Barbie, castelos de princesas, estetoscópio de mentirinha ou moldes de massinha. E sempre, sempre, sempre mesmo ele tocava no seu nariz para chamar a sua atenção e recitava “janela, janelinha, porta e campainha, ding-dong”, enquanto tocava os seus olhos, boca e nariz, respectivamente.
Hoje, Eduarda tocava a barriga de Lorena quatro vezes, esperando ansiosamente para poder passar a parlenda e brincadeira adiante para o seu bebê.

Abbot raises his eyebrows, not actually looking that surprised. “May I ask what brought this on?”
“Just…” avoiding my ex-not-even-girlfriend? Probably not the best thing to say. “Just looking for a new experience. I feel like I could learn a lot from working nights.”
He stares at her for a moment. It’s a little unnerving, and Trinity feels her back straighten instinctively. Then he smiles, clapping his hands together.

“Are you two, um, dating?” Javadi’s eyes were wide, glancing between Trinity and Whitaker.
“What?” She stared at Javadi, trying to figure out if maybe the other woman had finally grown a backbone and decided to start fucking with Trinity.
“Well, the two of you always come in together and you leave together and you bicker all the time…” Javadi trailed off, glancing between them.
Unable to stop herself, Trinity began laughing. Cackling, really. A loud, snorting laugh that she hadn’t heard from herself in ages.
“It’s not that funny,” Whitaker said with a long-suffering look on his sad little face.
“I’m a lesbian, crash. That’s why it’s funny. He’s my roommate. My very platonic roommate.”
“You haven’t noticed her whole thing with Doctor Garcia?” Whitaker said, clear retribution for Trinity’s laughing spell. “Everyone’s been talking about it.”

This was supposed to be a little vignette of Clarke being the one taking care of her girl for a change, but it got out of hand and somehow became about 4k words of fluffy foreplay and 4k words of pure smut. It's set in the canon world but in some vague magical future version where they got to have an actual relationship and worry about things other than Arkadia.
