All of a sudden, Samatoki came to a halt, bringing the entire group to a standstill, and reached out towards the side of Juto’s face. “Hey, you okay? Your eyes look kinda fucked up. Like, more than usual.”
Juto brought a hand up to redirect Samatoki’s away. “I’m fine. If you must know, I have a bit of a headache, but that’s par for the course dealing with you.”
Rio leaned in to take a look for himself. Indeed, Juto’s eyes looked heavy, with the glassy sheen of someone coming down with an illness. This was concerning.
