Summary
'Sherlock Holmes had been pacing back and forth in front of the window for just long enough that it would be of no more of a surprise to find the carpet discoloured and crushed out of shape in the path that the detective had taken. His brow was furrowed in thought, fingertips pressed together with just enough force that it paled the skin where they touched. There were trains that left less impressive plumes of smoke than that of which was bellowing from his pipe, the resulting smoke having left the air with just enough of a haze that it left the doctor with a tickle in the back of his throat as he watched the pacing through his peripheries. Not that it would have been easy to ignore him even if he did try. The swish of his crimson and purple dressing gown as he whirled about. The occasional instance where the man drew just a little too close to the furniture for his own good, risking a collision he wouldn't notice.
As much as Dr. John Watson would have loved to retreat to his bedchambers, he was sure the rhythmless yet somehow melodic footfalls of Holmes' pacing would do a marvellous job of keeping him from sleep.'

Summary
This takes place after The Dire King, so, you know, spoilers for the end of the series and all that!
A collection of short chapters taking a look at life at 926 Augur Lane after the end of the war with the Dire King, with an emphasis on Abigail adapting to her new gift. Mostly fluffy, with a little hurt and angst sprinkled in for flavor. Just like the books, everything is from Abigail's perspective. Expect a similar tone to the books as well (i.e. nothing explicit, few if any curses, etc.), though with less murder.

In the first chapter, Abigail is speculating about the future and trying to learn more about her new responsibility when she's interrupted by Charlie, who has a certain question on his mind.

In many stories of such events, the only happy ending for these tortured souls is to move peacefully into the afterlife. This is not that type of story. A story about my take on the events of classic RPG Maker Horror Mad Father, with a notable divergence during the story.
