It's been a year since the world was overrun with the Infected. A year since the world fell apart in front of Chan’s eyes. A year since Chan has seen another living person. And a year since Chan was bitten in the middle of a crowded sidewalk with dozens of people running past him. Chan was one of the first to go. He had the misfortune of breaking his foot a few days prior, so he was stuck with crutches, and a cast and couldn’t run very far. It was a losing battle from the start.
or, Chan got bitten in the Apocalypse. This isn't what he imagined being dead was like.

"Please be positive, please be positive....", Minho murmured, clutching the piece of plastic tightly in his hands. Chan's arms stayed wrapped around his middle, the alpha's head resting on his shoulder as he peered down at the test too, apprehensive. "Baby, it's okay if you're not pregnant. I doubt it took the first time. We'll try again.", he said, pressing a kiss to his cheek.
With a shaky sigh, Minho turned the test around. Two clear blue lines looked back up at him, and his eyes widened.
