Summary
Eddie has finally graduated (turns out ‘86 was his year after all) and wants to get the hell out of Hawkins. Luckily for him, Robin is moving to Chicago for college and needs a roommate. For a couple of queer kids from rural Indiana, Boystown is basically heaven on Earth. Robin is studying film and women’s studies, and Eddie is working at a bookstore. Every weekend, they’re dancing until dawn at the gay bars, reveling in the freedom they could never have dreamed of back in Hawkins. Now, it’s the end of Robin’s first semester, and she’s going home for the holidays. And, against all odds, she’s convinced Eddie to come with her.

Summary
Why are you here; why are we here? Ilya kisses the girl in front of him. The kiss lasts seventeen seconds, Shane counts, what are we doing? Ilya is dragging the tender, ugly parts of them out here for everyone to see. Seventeen seconds, or at least until Rose leans in and Shane insistently presses his mouth on hers to remind himself of what he wants.
The kiss breaks. Shane has to leave, his body lurching. When he meets Ilya's eyes, he sees the gesture for what it really is: a reminder of his place.
or; Shane tries. He really does.

Summary
It is December, and Scott has been out for long enough to pretend to be used to it, and things are not perfect but they’re fucking good, and Ilya Rozanov is at his apartment for dinner—has been for over an hour—and he’s still waiting so stupidly hopefully to introduce a boyfriend who very, very clearly isn’t coming.
(Or: studies on coming out, learning patience, one-sided conversations, and other absurdist waiting games.)

Summary
"So!" Aziraphale said, plopping himself down in the chair opposite. "Urophilia."
Crowley glowered at him from behind the safety of his third-best sunglasses and his mug. He hadn't slept last night — he rarely needed to, these days, preferring to spend the time lounging in bed pretending to sleep so that Aziraphale would join him — yet it was somehow still too early for this. "No," he attempted.
