Summary
A pop princess on the rise. A rockstar on the edge of collapse. Your world is all polish and perfection, hers is chaos and self-destruction. You and Ellie Williams were never meant to cross paths. But when the industry sees an opportunity, it spins a story neither of you can escape: a headline-making, career-saving fake relationship.
You need edge. She needs damage control. It should be simple—play the part, sell the history, survive each other. But Ellie is unpredictable, fame is unforgiving, and somewhere between staged appearances and real fights, the harder it is to tell where the act ends and something real begins.
And in a world where everything is manufactured, the most dangerous thing you can do is feel.

Summary
"The game’s Friday. Big one. Semifinals. You coming?" Ellie asked.
You hesitated, biting your lip. "I don’t know yet. I have a session Saturday morning. Also, you suck at not looking at me during games. People will figure it out. Maybe I’ll just watch the highlights."
Ellie groaned, leaning her forehead against your head. "The highlights? That’s cold. Tell you what… if you come, you should wear my jersey. It’s got my name on the back. That’s cool, yeah?"
You laughed, the sound bright against the quiet parking lot. "I’ll think about it, Williams. We’re supposed to be keeping this fun and secret, remember?"
"Let ’em wonder," she whispered, her eyes dropping to your lips. "I think you'd look hot in it. It’d be like… marking my territory. Or whatever weird alpha shit hockey players are supposed to say."
"Freak," you laughed.
"Yeah. Unfortunately."

Ellie Williams wins championships, loses arguments, throws punches, carves wooden cats, and spends an unhealthy amount of time thinking about one figure skater in her jersey.

Summary
As if on cue, a muffled, rhythmic “Yes! Yes! Yes!” drifted through the vents, followed by a violent headboard slam.
Ellie winced. “Jesus. What the hell are they doing over there?”
“He’s certainly persistent,” you muttered. “It’s been forty minutes. I’m almost impressed. Mostly homicidal, but slightly impressed.”
“Don’t be. Most of that’s probably just noise. Guys like that?” She gestured vaguely. “All bark, no bite.”
“Oh? And you’re an expert on the technical skills of our neighbor?” You arched an eyebrow at her.
Ellie’s face went bright red. She looked away instantly.
“I — no. Obviously not.” She cleared her throat. “I’m just saying. It’s loud. Kinda… pathetic.”
“Pathetic,” you repeated, leaning in slightly.
“Shut up,” she grumbled. “I’m just saying — if you’re gonna keep the whole floor awake, at least mix it up. Don’t just yell the same crap like you’re reading off cue cards.”
“I think ‘Oh, baby’ is a classic for a reason, Ellie.”
or
You barely speak to your roommate. Then your neighbors develop an alarming cardio routine, bad sci-fi becomes a nightly ritual, and Ellie Williams turns out to be a much bigger problem than the noise ever was.
