Summary
As an incredibly talented collegiate diver and one of two captains for the University of Tokyo’s extremely successful Swim and Dive team, Fushiguro Megumi has no time for distractions. He’s far too busy with grueling practices, demanding courses, and an insanely complicated family life to spend time on foolish things like cute guys or, god forbid, romance. He needs to keep his head in the game so he can lead his team to their fourth national title in five years, thereby ensuring he doesn’t make a fool of himself or make his team regret voting him in as the youngest captain their university has ever seen.
So, he’s got no time for romance. Especially when the guy trying to woo him is the captain of the men’s water polo team (the very same team that cost them the title two years ago), and especially when that captain is the most frustratingly perfect idiot he’s ever met, one Itadori Yuuji.

Or, immovable object (way too serious collegiate dive star Megumi) meets unstoppable force (way too sexy water polo team captain Yuuji). Hilarity ensues.

Summary
Yuuji, Megumi, and Nobara are online friends. While Megumi and Nobara know each other IRL, all they know about Yuuji is that he's an energetic teammate who goes by the username punchingtiger320, and all Yuuji knows is that his two friends are friends in real life and they all make a great team together. Sure, maybe Megumi has a thing for his long distance friend, but it's not like it would ever go anywhere.
There was no way that they would ever meet in real life.

Summary
Itadori reaches out and grabs his hand. Easy, casual. His fingers are calloused, wrapping almost entirely around the width of Megumi's palm.
"Don't let go, okay?" Itadori says. He has to lean in to be heard, and Megumi's heart does something weird in his chest. "Don't wanna lose you and Kugisaki in the crowd."
Megumi swallows. Turns his hand so that Itadori has a better grip.
"Alright," he says. "I won't let go."

In between the missions and the danger and the near-death experiences, the kids have a night out in Tokyo.

Not since boxing turned professional and he had an image and a health record to keep up with. But Itadori Yuuji was also a good person, and he wasn’t going to leave his friend hanging when she begged him to accompany her on a night out. Drink a little, dance a little, laugh a little, and make sure Kugisaki got home safe. Easy enough.
Well, who knew he’d spend the evening talking with some stranger on the balcony?
