    Summary

“First, you get the money. Then you get the power, respect - hos come last.”

Wen Qing traps Wei Wuxian in the Demon Slaughtering Cave, but Wei Wuxian isn’t interested in being the beneficiary of the Wen Remnants’ noble sacrifice. His efforts to free himself accidentally send him back to the beginning of the Sunshot Campaign. Coreless but armed with demonic cultivation, knowledge of the future and his wits, Wei Wuxian takes advantage of this opportunity to come out on top of both the war and its aftermath—before either has a chance to happen—by marrying and swiftly burying the cultivation world’s worst men.

Lan Wangji is confused, hurt, and uncomfortably aroused by Wei Wuxian’s improbably elaborate series of Sect-themed bridal negligees.

You never wondered what Nie Mingjue was up to, Jiang Yanli thought, with a moment’s envy of Nie Huaisang. Huaisang probably never had to question what he ought to do because his brother, in a misguided effort to protect those he loved, had put himself at risk by marrying a murderer or two within a week of one another. Mingjue just sat there and finished his soup. Good man.

By the time MianMian gets back from her honeymoon, his name and face will be gloriously etched into Lan Wangji's memory. Impossible to remove.

He's going to make that man think of him daily. He wants to drive him insane.

Maybe Lan Wangji will have to invent an actual forget-Wei-Wuxian curse just to survive the aftermath.

"Oh!" He hadn't considered that, but it doesn't surprise him. "Right, thanks? Anyway, I'd love to meet whoever put this one together, because they're talented as hell, even if I think it's wrong."

Lan Xichen gives him an interested glance. "Is that a firm stance?"

"Pretty much." Wei Wuxian gives him a look.

"Even if the memories were quite harmful?"

Wei Ying makes a face. “Sort of? One of my favourite fandom writers published a new story. I’ve been following her for ages, and she writes the best stuff.”

“Is that not a good thing?” Lan Zhan asks. Of course, it could be a pairing he dislikes, or a premise that squicks him out, or any number of things that might explain the pouty scowl on Wei Ying’s face.

“Okay, this is going to sound super conceited, but I love her work and I’m dying to read her new one. But I can’t because she’s writing fic for one of my books. Which is like, embarrassing, but also kind of flattering?” Wei Ying is blushing now, and it is possibly the cutest thing Lan Zhan has ever seen. He keeps his hands firmly on the mouse and keyboard, where they cannot do anything untoward like reach out and brush Wei Ying’s flaming cheek.

“That must be very frustrating,” he says sympathetically.

    Summary

It had only been about two weeks since Vecna and their trip to the upside down and everything had just… gone back to normal. As it always did. Life went on. The kids went back to school, he and Robin went back to work, Nancy and Jonathon were getting ready for college and Eddie…

Apparently, no one thought to check in on Eddie.

Recovering from first-time exposure wasn't easy, especially not when your return meant trying to graduate high school for the third time, so Steve decides he's going to do whatever it takes to help Eddie Munson graduate, even if it means re-learning 12th grade U.S History, and learning some things about himself along the way.

He heard Eddie shuffling on the other side of the door just as Steve’s eyes caught something - a pile of post-it notes on top of his dresser, stuck haphazardly together, but all kept in one small pile. Eddie had a habit of leaving him post-its if he was up before Steve in the morning, or if he wasn’t home when Steve expected him to be, and Steve had started just… keeping them. All of them. A little collection of Eddie’s chicken-scratch handwriting, and every time he came home with a new one, he stuck it on top of the pile.

Lan Zhan blinked, and pushed his wet hair off his forehead as he slid off his surfboard and stood upright. Wei Ying was standing on the beach, holding a pair of sandals and staring out, his sand-covered bare feet carefully out of reach of the actual water. There was a strange, mournful twist to his mouth that faded when he saw that he wasn’t alone, replaced by a warm smile. “Lan Zhan, is that you?”

“Mn,” he replied, and walked up to meet him there in the middle of the sand. Privately, he thought, who else would it be?

Wei Ying laughed. “I thought so, but I wasn’t sure. You looked good out there.”

“Don’t do this to me,” Wei Ying said. “Your mouth. I thought I’d never—never.” He leaned forward and pressed his forehead to Lan Zhan’s shoulder, swaying in for one lovely second, and then moving back again. “I just want you to see. To—to know what happened. It doesn’t seem fair that it’s just mine.”

Lan Zhan nodded. He followed, pulling back, letting their hands find each other again, trying to calm the wild noise of his heart. Wei Ying led him into the shadow of the alley, pulling his phone from his pocket and putting on the flashlight. He was a lighthouse, the circle of light from his phone sweeping, guiding them on.

“You had a bag with you,” he said, his voice a little too high as he continued his story. “I realized later you stole it from Huaisang. It was full of his art supplies.” He swept the walls with his flashlight, clearly looking for something. “Including—ah!”

He ran forward, pulling Lan Zhan by the hand.

“Including spray paint,” he finished, triumphant now, and gestured at the wall. “God. There. I knew it was real.”
