Phainon’s suffering, which lasted 33 550 336 cycles, has finally come to an end. Irontomb is sealed within an endless cycle and no longer threatens the world with destruction. His friends are now alive; they are real, not just a set of codes created in a virtual simulation of Amphoreus. It seemed like everything was going well, and now he no longer had to bear the weight of the world on his shoulders; he no longer had to suffer, feeling his body being destroyed as if it were about to crumble to ashes from the heat of the coreflames. And most importantly, he would no longer have to watch the life fade from Mydei’s eyes every time he killed him, cowardly exploiting the knowledge of his weakness, the one thing capable of ending his life irrevocably. But now he could put an end to their rivalry; he could confess his feelings, even if they weren’t reciprocated. But Phainon didn't know that he would be the one who would never see the dawn of the new world.

He shakes out his head, trying to clear the cobwebs, still not exactly sure how he is, but the team will just be glad to know he’s conscious. Hitting the radio button, he notices immediately that the channel hasn’t been opened.
