“Are you okay?” Bow approached the bed, and Glimmer couldn’t help herself from looking up at him.
She’d missed him, missed him more than she had ever thought possible. Those days, weeks, she’d spent trapped in Horde Prime’s prison, constantly watched, constantly afraid, her whole being had ached for him. It made her feel guilty, but she’d missed Bow more than she missed her mom, even when that hurt had been fresh and new and bleeding.
What I think glimbow was doing when Adora said they were making out in Don't Go with a dash of Horde Prime-induced angst.

“Is there anything I can do to help?” Bow asks. Glimmer looks up at him. She appreciates him asking, but…
“Do you wanna come home with me and stand in between me and my mom every time we’re in a room together?” she says. Bow gives her a look as he sits down beside her on the couch. “Sorry,” Glimmer says, sighing. “No, there isn’t really anything you can do.”
“I would go home with you if I could,” Bow says. Glimmer half-laughs, pauses, and reassesses the situation.
“Is there…a reason that you can’t?”
(Glimmer has been avoiding seeing her parents for three years. When she finally has to go home, she takes Bow with her. They pretend to be dating, because clearly that's the best possible way to justify his presence and this decision will have no unforeseen consequences at all.)
