Colton squeezes his eyes open to check the clock, it feels early, like he hasn’t had enough sleep. The clock must be lying when he reads 9:14. It is about then that he realises he’s not alone in his bed and a grin appears, there is a warmth at his back and a heavy arm over his waist.

Charlie’s not really slept - after he got home he directed his unspent anger out on the punch bag he has hung up in his home gym. He’s punched it repeatedly, imaging it was that bastard’s face instead of smooth black leather. When he’d taken the edge off he’d moved on to weights and finally his treadmill until he’d all but collapsed in a sweaty heap.

Summary
It’s been almost two weeks since Colton has seen Charlie, been to Citadel or had anyone else touch him in any way that wasn’t purely professional. Hell, he’s hardly touched himself. Stephen noticed of course and after Colt and he talked Colt realised that staying away just because of a bad outcome isn’t going to be good for him in the long run. On top of all that he has a brand new contract to celebrate.
With that in mind Colton is determined to get to the bar and find himself someone to be with.

It’s been over a week since their weekend road trip up the coast, and whilst Charlie’s been busy, he’s also given Colton plenty of thought. He likes him, as a mate, as someone to hang with - and yeah he’s also every kinda pretty...beyond that - Charlie’s not prepared to go. Finding himself with an evening free - and in the mood for some easy company, he dials Colton’s number and lays back on his bed to stare up at the ceiling as the phone rings out.
