Since a long time ago, from his dam when she was still alive, Jimin had heard many tales about the South. The packs, the cultures, livelihoods, and people; people whose lives were amidst sunshine and greenery, not inside a silent castle of ice and monotony like his own. Listening to them, he had always imagined it a mythical world bursting with colours, always warm and welcoming.
It had felt like he was meeting a fantastical creature of his fever dreams when he had first been face to face with a southern lycan, on his own betrothal ceremony.
Now, with the rushing water under his feet, the full moon on his sweaty skin, and a fresh mating mark on his neck dripping blood on the same alpha’s tongue, Jimin couldn’t remember anymore whether this was the happy ending he had always wanted.
