Summary
The silence that followed the kiss wasn't sweet, or slow, or peaceful, it actually felt like void sucking the oxygen from his lungs.
"It'll be sixty," Liam found himself saying, disconnected, dissociated.
"What?" Theo replied only in a small voice.
"Sixty dollars, I'm sorry, I can't go lower than that.
Theo seemed to freeze.
"You want me to pay you… for a kiss?"
Liam pulled his lips into a distant smile.
"We both know you don't just want a kiss," he said, the little monster inside him in full control "everything you've done… I'm used to long foreplay, but the hourly rate still kicks in."
"You mean… sex?" Theo asked, completely incredulous "you want me to pay you to have sex? What the fuck are you talking about?"
And then finally, Liam felt the weight of months spent protecting his secret melt away as he saw the dots in Theo's eyes finally connect.
That was him, who he really was, and now Theo knew too.
He was nothing.
"It's your job," Theo finally spoke, his eyes filled with horror "you… you're a prostitute."
