Summary
Hao's tears double, trickling down his cheeks and dripping down his jaw like crystals catching the fading sunlight. His face is even more flushed, his cheeks red and blotchy, his eyes rimmed with pink. His tears cling to his eyelashes, webbing them into sharp spikes, and his lips are plump and quivering. Hanbin wants to kiss them so badly it physically hurts.
"Can you at least say something?" Hao pleads, his hand clutching his bag. His ice cream has fallen onto the park ground, a sad puddle of melting vanilla.
Hanbin's mind traitorously wanders. He wonders if Hao will cry just as much in bed. If his tears will fall just as freely and he'll hiccup and beg—hiding his face in the sheets as he sniffles. If he'll look just as beautiful and undone beneath him. The thought sends another jolt of heat through his body, and he immediately feels disgusted with himself.
Alternatively: Sung Hanbin gets bricked up in the middle of his whatevertionship's very vulnerable moment. He atones.

“Can you please,” The man cranes his head to the back corridor which connects to the rest of the hospital, “Just ask for Dr.Sung?”
Ignoring the request, another tactic Jaehyun developed to help with deterring some of these Hanbin fanatics, he redirects the man to the check-in process.
“I’ll need your puppy’s name.”
The man obviously notices the redirection, but he answers with a sigh, “Sansan. She’s two and a half years old."
“Mhm,” Jaehyun’s quick to fill out the information, “And your name?”
“Zhang Hao.”
Veterinarian Sung Hanbin has a lot of fans. One in particular comes as an oddity.

Summary
Hanbin leans back, looking at the sun setting slowly across the horizon.
There’s tears in his eyes, but he simply shuts them. Because fuck—he imprinted on Hao. Sweet, innocent, kind Hao. Hao who smiled so kindly at his gift, and his tangy scent that sits at the top of his tongue—he could melt in it, lose himself completely in Hao, give himself away until he's but a puddle warmed by the sun.
Naturally, Hanbin shoves all this deep, deep down. Imprinting isn’t real, because if it was, it sure was a shitty way for a wolf to get a mate, and he simply wasn’t the kind of alpha to assume such things like that his claim means anything. It doesn’t. It hardly counts. It isn’t real.
