Summary
Peter stops leaving his apartment after he's given the news that his spider-like heat cycle is starting. completely oblivious to the fact he even had one to begin with, he look's to Stephen and Tony for help, who tell him to quarantine until it passes. while under the impression that he would know what to do with himself by instinct, he slowly but surely accepts the fact he has no idea how to handle it on his own. just as it becomes unbearable, a familiar, now pissed off merc shows up like a knight and shining armor, bearing grocery bags of supplies and a plan.
(Tony asks him to check on Peter)
(yes, there is rough and desperate smut. but the focus is the heat cycle, which is, mind you, unbearably exhausting and emotional. this is sexy to a niche, which is probably traumatized autistics. I'm just gonna put that out there.)

Summary
It’s hot, but also cold, because Rudo’s shivering under his sheets. He clasped his arms to his chest, squeezing them because oh god do they ache. Rudo sleeps with his gloves on; he never takes them off except to wash them, because the pain is unbearable without them. Nowadays, they hurt more than most. The ache and itch under the charred skin surface from being suppressed for so long by the leather of his gloves.

Summary
It's really not that bad- Peter knows what he's doing. He's done this a million times before he had the option to go to SHEILD's medbay, so he doesn't need them now. He's just going to clean up in the bathroom, and go to sleep, and no one will notice it because he'll be all healed up in the morning and it won't matter anyway.
It just looks worse than it really is. Probably.
