    At its core, this story is about two people who will do anything to protect and defend the other. Set sometime after Fight the Future, Scully discovers Mulder has gone missing. When she finds him, he's badly injured and his attackers are still at large. Scully has to use everything in her arsenal to try to keep Mulder safe and alive. And through it all, she learns just how much Mulder has done the same for her.
