Summary
Asa Fell's been having strange dreams. Visions of heaven and hell and antichrists and armageddons; etchings of pious plots and the players within them. Dante’s Inferno or Aristophanes’ Frogs but with the acts out of whack. Stranger than that, they all have an oddly jigsaw-ish quality to them - as though he’s been handed pieces that could, conceivably, fit.

Our thoroughly concussed friend Bruce receives an unexpected guest.

It’s not Clark's first smile of the night by a long shot, but it’s one of his off-guard ones - the sort he tends to reserve for the unexpected joys of life. Not the all-white grin of setting the world to rights, but the subtle shock of an unplanned gift, of being caught unawares with a moment of too-bright happiness. Bruce almost wants to refute the fact that Clark's given it to him now - that he's earned it for the honour of getting encrusted nosebleed wiped gently from his philtrum - but before he gets the chance to offer a quip, Clark’s right back in his space - torso not two inches from Bruce’s nose.

Summary
Set between Disembodied's final two scenes, our good friend Clark finds a handful of ways to give back to Bruce. After all, he's been a very gracious host.

‘Hell, Bruce,’ Clark remarks, breathy from the back of his mind. ‘I've been wanting to touch you for so long. Not just,’ he waves a vague hand over their torso, ‘like this. But the whole time. When you figured me out, after the accident, definitely in that hospital bed. Just wanted to look after you.’ Clark elaborates, shuffling them gently against the headboard. ‘I want- I want to make this good, Bruce. Can I touch you?’

Summary
When a run-in with a sorcerer leaves Clark displaced from his body, Bruce finds himself playing host to his friend's wayward spirit.

Bruce thinks that if Kal contained even 5% less optimism, he’d run. He’d know there was a magical beam coming for his head and he’d have darted somewhere, anywhere. Into space, was one great idea. But instead he looks up to meet them, all hopeful eyes and all-white smile; like their pylon-parading magician’s going to chuck in the towel and apologize for the fuss.
Instead, Clark is hit square in the chest with a volt of pure magical energy. Bruce bellows.

Summary
Contrary to popular belief, Clark Kent doesn’t dislike his run-ins with Bruce Wayne. It could even be said that he actively looks forward to them

He can’t walk up to Bruce straight away - no, no, this is all a practiced part of the game. He has to saunter vaguely, riding the edge of the wall with practised, uneasy eyes for a lap or two. He nods and shakes hands with whichever debutantes he’s come to know in his line of work, politely informing them that he’s off-duty this evening and here in a purely idle capacity, which in return earns him a more genuine smile and a sly quip about Mr. Wayne’s choice in curtains. Clark then proceeds to do them all the favour of not mentioning that he helped the billionaire select the colour himself.
