Louis followed, dazed, as Lestat led him over to their mirror. Lestat turned him gently, guiding Louis to stand before the mirror, Lestat pressed to his back and peering over his shoulder with wanting eyes. Louis’ face felt hot as he willed himself to look at his reflection. The long, slender planes of his dark chest and arms contrasted against Lestat’s pale form looming behind him.
Lestat was watching him closely, making Louis’ skin crawl, but he forced himself to keep looking. Following the dark trail of tight curls down from his navel, his eyes drifted to the dark silk of the garter belt. The elastic bit into the slight softness just below Louis’ waist. Lestat’s hands trailed up and down Louis’ sides, making him shiver, before coming to rest over the belt, fingers squeezing gently at the soft flesh. Louis’ heart was still fluttering in his chest; he felt unreasonably anxious.
The two stood there for several minutes, Lestat drinking Louis in and petting at Louis’ waist and hips. Lestat’s fingers traced circled over Louis’ hipbones, and Louis’ breathing steadied.
“Do you see?” Lestat finally breathed, fingertips digging into the points of Louis’ hips.- Language:
