Brilliant world-building with the intricate political background to Wakanda that we didn't get to see much of onscreen. This whole thing reminds me of a recent article I read about how DS9 explored the dark side of the utopic ideal of Star Trek and the Federation. The so-called utopia of Wakanda has its own dark side.

Summary
Tony can't get himself back from Siberia, and it takes the night for him to be rescued. While waiting to see if he'll die of hypothermia, he realises something for the first time. It wasn't that he failed because he hadn't tried hard enough. He had failed because he had tried too hard. His so-called team-mates had formed the habit of blaming Tony for everything because he had let them. He had shouldered the blame, let them attack him without consequence, and cleaned up after their mess, all so they could continue to feel self-righteous in peace. But it wasn't just him they were attacking, and saving the world didn't give them a free pass to be the very bullies that Steve claimed to fight against.
Tony woke up in hospital, still sustained by the relief of his realisation. Things sucked, but they would get better. He was Tony Stark, and no challenge was too much for him. It was odd how much easier it was to plot when he actually did intend ways to manipulate the ex-Avengers into falling in line. And since that was what they seemed convinced he was doing all along, they didn't deserve a warning that it would now be true.

Poe gave up a lot of things when he defected to the Resistance, but there's always more to lose. War is an expensive lifestyle. You've got to keep your affairs in order and do the best you can with what you have. He owes this former Stormtrooper a life-debt, and beyond that he knows the kid's exceptional, so he's going to do everything he can to get the kid a fair start in this messy business.
Finn wakes up and has no idea what to do beyond joining the Resistance, but he knows he’s got to keep up with Poe somehow.BB-8 really just thinks the two of them should go ahead and do that thing that biological organisms seem to spend so much time thinking about where they rub themselves on each other, already, because clearly that needs to happen.
STORY IS COMPLETE, sequel to follow. Warning: The story ends with a romantic subplot unresolved, just a plot arc complete. The romantic subplot is slated to resolve, but does not within this story. I don't want to promise a HEA that I don't deliver on right away!

I wish this was canon. Seriously. There's enough of everything I need. (Angst, Badass!Stiles, interesting villains, interesting OCs, pack love) And if there isn't any explicit Derek/Stiles, then that just means I don't skip any part. (When did I start skipping the sex part anyway?) I can live in this fic. Or on it. After I finished the latest one, I couldn't read anything else, because they just couldn't compare.
