"The 14th of February, if we're going by the local calendar." Ratio still hasn't even looked at him.
"Right."
There is a silence between the two.
"You know whats usually celebrated on February 14th?" Aventurine starts again.
"Commonly, the 14th is known as Valentine's day, traditionally a day to celebrate romance and love. Many couples may choose to spend the day together and give each other flowers or chocolate as a token of affection." Ratio explains, still not looking at him.
"Right."
Another silence.
Aventurine stretches in his chair. "What a shame I have nobody to celebrate with..."
"Oh?" Ratio finally perks up and looks at him, head slightly tilted. "The dinner reservation for two I made for the evening suggests otherwise. Or was I mistaken and should cancel it?"

It’s absurd! Sometimes they even post twice a day. No one bot should be able to write this much. Not even he did, back when he actively wrote, though he likes to think that the quality of his writing is better than what amounts to sexy drivel.

“Oh, I don't know, everything I knew about you was…Optimus Prime: Leader of the Autobots, the motivational speaker, the grand theatrical underdog motif. I suppose I expected you to have that aura about you all the time. Unless you decided after five million years to get shy on me, you're actually quite a timid bot.”
“I wouldn't say timid… maybe reserved… or professional,” Optimus mutters, each word seemingly shrinking him down a size.
“There are many other words I could use, but that would be, what did you say, ‘unbecoming of me’, wouldn’t it, Prime?”
“Can I confess something to you?” Optimus smiles at Megatron.
“Oh, secrets from the Prime himself, is it something scandalous? Do tell.”

Megatron clenched his jaw. “...Thank you, Dorothy,” he said stiffly. Then, hesitantly, he began, “...But what if…?” He sighed and narrowed his optics. “No. Nevermind.”
His friend snapped her gaze to him and snipped, “Nope, out with it. Too late now. What if what?”
Megatron made a low, distressed noise, but when Dorothy only narrowed her eyes at him, he blushed and confessed, “What if I… can’t tell the difference between a nightmare and a fantasy?”
