Except that’s not what’s going to happen.
When an accident and a shelter-in-place order traps Chris, Dennis, five customers, and two civilians inside the shop, it soon becomes clear they’re not going anywhere anytime soon. Spending the night together seems like such a daunting task. But despite all the rocky starts and rocky middles, they're determined to make it through. After all, the new year is meant to bring with it a sort of magic - friendships, fights, and alongside it all, the smell of coffee beans.

Edit: Please see the note. I am aware of Jons ability to nod and type and such. I actually am paid to communicate with non verbal people. This story is built on the idea of no one recognizing Jon. If he tells them "hey, I'm Jon!" then the story would be like two chapters long. You can stop telling me every chapter that they can communicate. I know. I know the same way Agatha Christie knows who done it and then doesn't tell you till the end. Because if you solve the problem of the story the story ends.
