    Summary

Two outcasts met on a rooftop.
They will never be the same again.
But they will live. But they will keep breathing.
No matter how far away a bright future feels.

    Summary

Kabru remembers Utaya humming, the whole village bright with song. He always tried to rise with his mother, who had to start work before dawn; and every morning she soothed him back to sleep with a wistful lullaby, her voice in perfect harmony with the sounds of their world coming to life.

So it was, a day like any other, when the dungeon crumbled - when Utaya sang one last time, in one terrible endless scream, before it all fell silent.

    Summary

The wind brushed through the landscape, making the grass dance. Something was different. Tennisball looked around and everything seemed to be normal; same game, same flowers, same hands, same eyes, same sky. But...he could hear it calling for him, crawling underneath his skin. Something was wrong.

The shift did it, he was almost certain. It had messed up his mind.
