Summary
Kazuichi hasn't seen most of his classmates since graduating from Hope's Peak Academy. Working full-time at Owada Automotives has given him a new sense of purpose, as well as a steady flow of cash for him to spend suping up his dream car: an old Pontiac Firebird.
Things are finally looking up for him - until the reappearance of an old rival changes everything. Not only does he have painful memories and past wrongdoings to reckon with, but strange happenings begin to disrupt his peaceful blue-collar life.
Forced to investigate alongside friends old and new, Kazuichi finds himself going to odd lengths to unravel the truth. Still, the danger only grows with each passing incident, leaving the fate of those around him in the precarious balance between hope and despair.
