So, yes - Ivan is jealous. Disastrously, violently, ruinously jealous, because Ema has something he wants. Something he craves with the fervour of an addict. He wants Lovro, maybe more than he’s ever wanted anything in his life. He wants him under his hands, under his lips, against his skin. He wants to spend the rest of his life breathing him in as if he’s the only remaining oxygen. He wants to break him to pieces just so he can put him back together again. He wants Lovro to do exactly the same to him. He wants Lovro to open his eyes again and keep looking at him.
