Rain pattered against the stone shingles. Thoma woke up slowly, feeling his body ache and pop. He turned his head over and looked out the clear window, seeing the rain slide down the window. Morning rain always made him feel icky. At least he doesn’t need to go outside today.
He twisted his body around to see Ayato laying next to him. His heart leaped out of his chest as he saw the man.
