Summary
Charles Xavier is headmaster to a prestigious school for mutants. Erik Lehnsherr is a mutant terrorist. They play chess on the weekends when they're not trying to actively destroy each other's legacies (or kill the president, or go to space, or recruit various mutants into their cool kid clubs). It's unlikely, and it works, even if neither of them would ever let it slip that they have been seen with the other. Or, even if they leave a lot of things unsaid. Or kind of don't say anything at all, mostly.
It works out. It's a good place to be in, better than before. Right?
Why do they want to hang out, again?
And anyway, what is so wrong with getting tipsy and playing chess with your ex-situationship turned "We Were Literally on the News Together for Terrorism Related Incidents" arch-nemesis? A lot. There's a lot wrong with it, actually.
Charles and Erik drink, play chess, talk about their feelings (oof), and mostly, honestly, argue. There's a lot of arguing.

Summary
Charles and Erik argue, as they always do, but this one was the worst yet. Charles, deciding to drown his sorrows in drinks and sex, finds out quickly that he is already accounted for, whether he knows it or not.
Or, Charles and Erik have a fight, Charles tries to get fucked to forget about it, and Erik reminds him who he belongs to. Trans!Xavier with more historically accurate leanings.

It has been two years since Starfleet sent the Enterprise out on her second five year mission. Life has returned back to Kirk's preferred normal, and everything in his life is perfectly routine.
Except for today. Today...Today was very different.
Or, the "What if the blood fever could be transferred through the bond and Kirk and Spock find out the hard way?"

Summary
The problem lies in the fact that where the helmet doesn’t quite seal properly into the body of the suit, hardly noticeable unless one really looks, the barest hint of a golden curl peeks out.
“What is it?” Luke asks, and he must read something in the set of Din’s shoulders or the tilt of his head, because Din is silent behind the safety of his beskar; the flush rising in his cheeks goes unseen, nothing more than a faint warmth upon his own skin.
Or, Din gets a little distracted on a mission.

“Sorry,” Luke grinds his heel into his eye socket. He’s so tired. “I’m not following. You’re ready for… what exactly?”
“To be together,” Din replies, a tad impatiently, as though Luke is being thick for not realizing he’s continuing a conversation they started twelve standard months ago.

It is an ancient tradition on Mandalore, that before you can ask for someone’s hand in marriage, you first have to defeat them in battle to prove your abilities to care for and provide for the family you’ll have. If you are not a capable warrior, you are not a capable spouse.
Luke didn't realize he had already skipped that step.
