Varka is a hard man to surprise. He’d thought nothing could manage it anymore, but he supposes Flins is nothing if not an exception to his every rule.
The man stands in the wind, head tilted, bright eyes staring straight through Varka’s being.
“Flins,” Varka greets. “Gave me a bit of scare, didn’t you?”
“You look as though you’ve seen a ghost,” Flins says.
Varka wets his lips. “Haven’t I?”

Summary
Each month, on the full moon, Flins experiences a spike in desire. Perhaps it’s old Fae instincts, or a biological cycle, the Lightkeeper has long forgotten. It’s never been more than an inconvenience in the past, but that has changed. Now that The Doctor is defeated and the true Frost Moon revealed, Flins’s cycles have become overwhelming.
In his attempt to find solitude to wait out another full moon, Flins runs into Varka. The Knight instantly thinks something is wrong, and in his concern, offers shelter.
Not to be impolite, Flins agrees... Not knowing what the Frost Moon's heat will bring.

After accepting Varka's help, and enjoying their new found affection, Flins is finally on his way home to Final Night Cemetery. The full Frost Moon rises, and the ancient cycle roars in the Lantern Fae's blood. His cerulean flames flicker across ashen skin as the silver light reaches its zenith.
Varka is along for the ride as he seeks to learn everything he can about the man that is finally looking in his direction. The Grand Master has always craved a partner that can handle ALL of him, and his little light has greedily stepped up for the opportunity.
