Summary
“Dion. I know the Empire has asked much of you. That it still does. But when all of this is over… you can be whatever you wish to be. Not a Dominant, not an Emperor, not a soldier. Just… you.”
You. Dion’s mouth felt suddenly dry. Who was he, really, without those things? For as long as he could remember, he had built his life around Bahamut’s wings. He had desired that life, grown into it. Perhaps his bones were crooked and he ached with every step, but it was part of it, was it not? What was life without a little pain?
“When that time comes, whatever you choose – know this. You will not be alone. You will never be alone again.”
---
Dion wakes to an Empire in ruins. His wings clipped and his home destroyed, he must find a way to live again and atone for his sins. But destruction seems to follow him wherever he walks, and the hardest task is learning to forgive himself.
Re-telling of post-Twinside until the end of the game and after, from Dion's POV. Mostly canon compliant with missing scenes, filled in. Angst with a happy ending.

Summary
“But… Harpocrates. You needn’t bother yourself with my plight. I am certain you have far better things to do than… this. Besides, this is hardly your area of expertise…”
“I can assure you that if it is knowledge of the intimate you seek, what would be a better place to look than the Tomes?”
After Dion confesses his feelings to Joshua, the latter finds himself at an impasse: how to impress Dion the Bold himself? Joshua's inexperience with the intimate leads him to the Tomes, where he comes across a most particular guide on the topic. Dion's body is not ready.

Summary
“Father once told me that our Eikons sense our emotions. That they feel our pain, our fear, our anger, just as we do. That is why they lash out when we feel things. But he also told me that they are beings beyond our comprehension, great beasts with minds of their own. Thus, we must learn to control them. To not let them destroy us.”
Or what really happened at the remembrance ceremony, to leave an mutual impression that lasted 20 years.

Summary
"Your highness", Joshua said, "do not yet speak of the end. You and I, we will yet take to the skies again. We will search for those we have lost. And if they truly are lost forever, then let us forge a new path, with them in our memory."
"Dion", the prince gritted out. "I told you to call me by my name."
"Only if you call me by mine", said Joshua. "Say it."
After the end of all things, the Phoenix meets Bahamut on a broken battlefield. Words of consolation are exchanged, and a hope rekindled.
Fix-it for the game's ending.

Summary
”Of course you would think so”, Achilles spat. “You made me like this.”
“No”, Ares whispered. He leaned closer to plant his words in Achilles’ ear. “You did this to yourself. You could have remained home with Patroclus. You did not. Because this is who you are. A weapon. And no matter how you try to delude yourself, you enjoyed the carnage.”
Achilles confronts the god that made him and ruined him, and learns a thing or two about himself.

"Into this wild Abyss the wary Fiend
Stood on the brink of Hell and looked a while,
Pondering his voyage; for no narrow frith
He had to cross."
- John MiltonOf all the maiar of Aulë in Almaren, the most hardworking went originally by the name of Mairon: the admirable. He was known for his love for things flawless and beautiful, and could not stand imperfection and waste. This desire and discord led him down the same path with the fallen Vala Melkor, from which began his long descent into Darkness.

Summary
It is the final day of the siege of Suchdol. Judgement Day, some would call it later on. The Praguers' camp had been razed to the ground by reinforcements arriving from Rattay: with Markvart dead, the rest of their forces flee.
Yet, despite being taken back, no victorious hymns echo through the fort. Mortal silence falls upon them: in the heart of the inner courtyard, Sir Hans Capon of Pirkstein kneels, unmoving, on the blood-soaked ground. No words reach him—no hands are strong enough to pull him away. Those who try to approach him cross themselves: the young lord is blind to the world.
It is only Father Godwin’s prayer that breaks through; his palms shaking, spread over Hans’ head: Pater noster, qui es in cælis, sanctificetur nomen tuum; adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua.
Fiat voluntas tua, he repeats, and waits.
Sicut in cælo et in terra, Hans finishes, his voice breaking. He raises his eyes for the briefest moment—as Godwin kneels down to gently pry his hands away.
Henry’s body in his arms is already cold.

Summary
Henry playfully wrestles him to the ground, and their laughter shakes the trees. This is what life ought to be: easy and sweet and without any past or future. The rest of the world can hang for all Hans cares; all he wants is to make Henry laugh, and to turn him every shade of red possible.
“Shut up or I'll fill you up,” Henry threatens. “I’ll get a strong son on you.”
Something flutters in Hans’s chest. “I'm not a fucking maid, Henry.” He struggles a little more, just for show, and Henry pins his hands above his head.
“Could be,” Henry counters, grinning. “My maid, my girl, the way you take me.”

Summary
“You were right. When you said no one could be proud of me.”
Henry closes his eyes. The bed frame soaked up the fire's warmth, a compress pressed along his side. The flame sputters, cracks.
“I was angry. And I couldn’t have possibly meant it, when I know it’s not true.”
