Imperial Ace Pilot Pilhen Aerk is the greatest living pilot in the Cascadia bioregion of the Empire of Human Unity. They just don't remember why. A former experiment from a supersoldier program meant to build a new calibre of pilot, Pilhen was discarded after stagnating and thrown back to the front lines a half-finished abomination. But an incomplete supersoldier is still a supersoldier, and the overseer of their development has eyes on a tool that can bring them back into the fold.
