Summary
Ilya liked Shane’s parents. He really did. David and Yuna Hollander were entirely devoted to their only child–maybe sometimes a bit intense, if not a little overbearing, in Yuna’s case–and their attentiveness had moulded him into a kind, hardworking, and thoughtful man. Truly, their son was a testament to the quality of both their character’s–Shane’s soft underbelly nurtured by his father’s patient tone and earnest gaze and his shrewdness and talent sharpened by his mother’s fierce mettle. Shane was the sum of his parent’s parts, yet entirely his own, and Ilya was very grateful to the tender, yet firm, hands that had shaped the man he loved. But right now, well, right now Ilya was not their biggest fan.
Jane:
My parents are going to be staying at my place after the game on Friday.Ilya missed Shane. Ilya really needed to have sex with Shane. Now the man's parents were in the way.

Summary
After Shane's plan to come out to Ilya in Tampa falls through, the pair have a falling out. There is no cottage. Instead, Ilya is forced to wait and see Shane at a charity event being held in New York. Ilya hopes that, after a miserable summer apart, he and Shane can reconcile.
There's just one problem.
Jordan Bragg, a forward for the New York Admirals, has also come out as gay. Stunningly handsome, funny, and just what a heartbroken Hollander needs, Jordan makes it clear that Ilya Rozanov isn't the only one after the Metro's star centre.

Summary
Shane makes a list: reasons to Come Out on one side and to Stay Safe on the other. It's definitely not meant to accidentally star in the background of his mom's Instagram post for fans to find.
But now that the world knows, maybe Shane can finally let himself have everything he's wanted.
If only Ilya didn't go out and get engaged the next day. Which is fine! Rozanov was settling down? Shane could settle down, too. He would find himself a nice man.
