Plans had begun to form in his mind as soon as Sirei told them, casual as anything, that there were bombs inside their bodies. Even more than he resented the threat, at the time he was mostly curious; he was intimately familiar with every scar on his body, and would have immediately noticed any new additions, no matter how small. But in this, at least, Yugamu didn't doubt Sirei's sincerity.
Something wasn't adding up. He was done biding his time.
Yugamu enacts his plan.

"So, Sumino," Yugamu started with a too-light tone, from the entrance to the library. "How would you kill me?"
Takumi looked up from a book he'd been holding open for the past twenty minutes without reading a single word. He blinked.
"Huh? I...wouldn't?" I'm not a killer, he wanted to say, but thought better of it. "Where is this coming from?"
"You were willing to kill Eito. Absorb his hemoanima. Make him a part of you forever."
"Is that what this is about?"
Takumi was a bit jealous of Yugamu's interest in Eito. He didn't realize that the jealousy went both ways.

It took a beat for him to register what exactly he was seeing and step back in alarm. There was no way the squad seven commander could be here, was there? How could it get inside the academy - or clone him that quickly, for that matter?
But rather than attack him or run for the defense room, the imposter instead clutched his own arms in a strangely familiar gesture and seemed to notice Takumi for the first time, blinking at him with a blank look. That was definitely his face, his body, but everything else, from the way he stood to the expression on his face was wrong.
When Takumi managed to speak, it was with a voice that was not his own.
"The hell?"
A complication with the revive-o-matic causes some problems.

A thought struck him, and he nearly laughed out loud. It was a terrible idea. It was insane that he was even thinking about this. Were it anyone else, he wouldn't have entertained the thought at all. As is, there was a good chance he was about to permanently fuck up their friendship.
Time to see if Omokage was all talk, he supposed.
Fumbling, he grasped at Eito's jacket - Omokage's haori - and pulled him close.
