And I’ve realized I hate my dad. I’ve also realized, after getting asked out after one class last spring and feeling some warmth right in the pit of my tummy, that I don’t completely hate it when guys look at me. When guys are attracted to me.
It's nice to feel wanted.
Now, looking in the mirror, even I could admit it: I was attractive. I wasn’t pretty. I definitely wasn't beautiful. But like my roommates said, I was hot. And I wanted to hear it from other people.
