“Yes,” Ilya interrupted. He didn’t want to know how long Hollander’s list was. “I know.”
Hollander took a deep breath. “Okay, listen,” he said. “Just so we’re clear - we don’t know each other outside of playing against each other, right?”
“Right.”
“And we can’t- can’t hook up anymore.”

Summary
When they’re on the forecastle, with the helm just behind them and the figurehead casting them further in shadow, Usopp calls, “Raise the sails!”
Luffy’s gasp next to his ear is the best part of his entire day.
The sails unfold in a great rolling crash of canvas. Even the striped gaff swings out, catching the wind. The whole sloop gives a powerful lurch as if she’s eager to sprint out of port on the back of whatever gale blows along next.
And painted on the foresail, bold and bright and proud, is a grinning Jolly Roger in a yellow straw hat.
“That’s mine,” Luffy whispers, hushed and awed.
“Told you so,” Usopp says smugly.

Luffy alone is a scrappy, tougher than he has the right to be, wild card of a kid who will cause chaos in any fight he throws himself into.
Luffy with his crew is somewhere between a force of nature and an act of God - so determined it feels like fate itself has submitted to his whims. So it is a really good thing the Strawhat Pirates would never let their captain go to war by himself, isn’t it? They'll need to pull off a few miracles to get Ace out of Marineford alive, after all.
