It's as if the entire world stills. Dean knows that the three of them continue talking from the way their mouths move, but he hears nothing. His ears zero in on Cas and found a way, and even though he should be feeling joy at finally having a lead after all this time, instead, he feels fear.

Kon quickly got control of his laughter after Robin spoke. “So, you used to have a thing for this guy? What happened? Was it the Nightwing comment?” Kon’s smirk didn’t drown out the curiosity written so clearly on his face.
Inexplicably, Robin went bright red again. “Nothing happened! Nothing specific at least, I just… got over the guy! No crazy story there!” Definitely not because he found himself rapidly falling in love with his best friend, the very person asking him the question in the first damn place!"
