having been exiled from every single corner of wizarding life, draco malfoy settled into a calm life in the countryside of france with his still-living relatives, managing a small apothecary-style store with his best friend and trying to put the past behind him. but he was never one to say no to a favor, and when he finds himself standing in the lobby of the tallest skyscraper he has ever seen - emblazoned with potter's name - he instantly regrets his pliable nature. or does he?

Harry Potter’s eighth year gets off to a terrible start when he accidentally binds himself to Draco Malfoy.
This is unfortunate for several reasons.
Firstly, neither of them can move more than six feet away from the other without collapsing.
Secondly, they hate each other.
Thirdly, Hogwarts may be shut down, political extremism is on the rise as the Wizarding World suffers the consequences of the post-war wreckage and someone is doing their absolute best to convince Britain that another war would be a brilliant idea.
The bond, unfortunately, turns out to be the least of their problems.
