“I don’t know if I can sleep,” Grace admitted, tersely. “I can’t get these theories out of my head, even if half of them don’t make any sense. I want to sleep—heck, I want to stop for a bit, take a break maybe—but I just can’t.”
The pad of Simon’s thumb roved over his cheekbone thoughtfully. Then, “Would you like to go down? Do you think that would help?” he asked.
Grace hesitated for a moment, eyes flitting between Simon’s face and the empty space over his left shoulder. “I… yeah. Um. Maybe that would… help. I think that would help.”
Inspired by the filament station discord discussing how Grace can sometimes suffer from problamatic levels of hyperfixation. combine that with his known oral fixation and Simon's need to take care of the man who takes care of him and, well. very sweet cockwarming ensues.

“I can’t,” Simon pleaded, voice breaking. “Fuck, Ryland, I can’t, I can’t—”
“Even if I want you to?” Grace asked, and Simon’s breath caught in his chest. “Let go, Simon. Whatever you want to do to me, I’m game.”
“Don’t say that. Fuck, don’t say that. You don’t know what you’re asking for.”
“Don't discredit me. I know what I want.”
Simon jerked away from him with a snarl. “You’re gonna get hurt. I can’t control myself.”
“Then let me help you.”Four months ago, the Eridians found a human welded into a metal box on the bottom of an ocean made of human blood, and somehow that's not the weirdest thing about the man. Even after they let him out of quarantine, he doesn't talk much, and Grace keeps a cordial but distant relationship with him--until he gets sick with some mystery illness and Grace gets tasked with helping him recover, because surely he knows what to do. (Spoiler alert: he doesn't. But he figures it out.)

Summary
In one whirlwind afternoon, the party makes camp in the ruins just outside Baldur's Gate. Gale struggles to come to terms with the idea that he's still alive, and might have a chance to live even more. Astarion understands, in his own way.
“I don’t hate you, Astarion. I admire you. I admire how you never let your fear get the better of you. I admire how you pursue your desires so openly. I envy the ease with which you carry yourself.” Gale shrugged and stared into his cup. “I do think you’re abrasive sometimes, but sometimes a little rudeness is what’s needed.”
“And what if I am afraid?” Astarion asked, looking just as surprised at the question as Gale. “What if the idea of going back and facing my— my captor, what if it terrifies me? What then?”
Gale smiled, softly. “Then I’d think you’re very brave for doing it anyway.”

Summary
It’s so quiet in space. Lance thinks he might be going insane. He wonders, not for the first time, how Voltron is doing without him. He hears whispers of his old team, sometimes; fighting Haggar’s Robeasts all across the universe, never gaining any ground. He’s glad they’ve found a new pilot to replace him as the Red Paladin. It hurts that they never came to look for him, but Lance understands. Introspection has become a byproduct of existing and he’s been alone with his thoughts for four months.
So yeah, Lance understands.

Keith pushes Red’s throttle to full, and the Lion goes into overburn on her own. He knows it’s foolish to waste so much energy on the search—especially here, especially now—but he’s getting desperate, and so is she. Lance is her paladin, not him. He’s just a stand-in. Really, he always was.
“C’mon, Lance, where are you?” he asks. The emptiness, as always, doesn’t answer.
Keith’s clock, set to earth standard time, chimes midnight. It’s been six months and thirteen days since Lance was taken—but for Keith, it’s been over two years.
He knows the only reason the Paladins haven’t found Lance yet is because they weren’t looking.

Summary
This series is called bite-verse only because I keep stealing titles from bite by troye sivan, NOT because simon was bitten in this one.
The works in this series are all related and take place, in my mind, in the same AU, but they vary from smutty works to more general fics exploring the worldbuilding of this AU that lives rent free in my brain. They are sorted in chronological order from the beginning of the story to the end of the story as much as possible, but due to the order in which I wrote these (aka VERY out of order) there may be some overlaps.

Lance and his friends have been regulars at the Altea Dance Studio for years. Not just for classes, but to hang out, practice, and spend time with good people who love dancing. Every year, they audition to be one of the few representing Altea at the regional dance competition. Lance always auditions solo, but this year he misses out on auditions and blows his chance to participate. And so does his self-proclaimed rival, Keith.
