Memories of that battle are nothing more than fury-inducing to him. The visions of Megumi with dark ink on his body haunt his nightmares.
“What happened?” He channels the calmest tone he can utter, but he has always worn his heart on his sleeve. Yuji's grip tightens on Megumi's kneecaps. Something fiery and dangerous is boiling in his gut.
“Yuji.” Megumi responds, his tone a warning.
