Summary
Adam sighed and turned around, so he and Ronan were nearly nose-to-nose. If Ronan was jarred by the sudden proximity, he didn’t show it. “What time is it?”
“Do I look like a fucking clock?”
Adam rolled his eyes. “Gimme your phone.”
“Get it yourself,” Ronan told him. He looked suspiciously pleased with himself. Adam only realized why when he lifted his head off the pillow to locate the phone and subsequently had to maneuver himself nearly on top of Ronan to reach it on the bedside table.
“Asshole,” he said when they were chest-to-chest.

Blue followed the movement of his hand and cocked her head, trying to read the spread of cards upside down. She spent a moment studying them. He held his breath, knowing what she would see there. Blue might not be psychic, but she’d grown up with this stuff—she probably knew the theory behind it better than he did. He felt strangely flayed open, knowing what she was looking at. He almost wished he’d picked them up before she could see, but it wouldn’t matter once he told her, anyway.
Blue said, “You two have been spending an awful lot of time together.”

“Oh my,” Kavinsky leaned through the window, “You told them I was the girl in the relationship?”
Adam could have strangled him. This wasn’t how he’d wanted everyone to find out.
