Dess stopped at the bunker doors with Kris, glancing at them before telling them, “Don’t look,” as she moved to the passcode panel. She input a 1 before glancing at Kris and putting her hand over their eyes. Kris tried to escape the hand of blindness, but she input the rest of the code before they could. As Dess opened the door, Kris peeked at the dark inside. Very dark. Suspiciously dark. Kris took a step back unconsciously, feeling like the darkness was pulling them in. Their breath felt like it was being pulled away, their footing feeling almost uncertain.

He doesn’t hate me, so surely I wasn’t unforgivably rude,” Killua picked a dandelion as he and Gon talked about Kurapika and Leorio, Gon had mentioned how he acted towards Leorio at first. He picked at the seeds one by one, pulling them out then sending them off into the breeze. Gon looked at him with an air of puzzlement on his face.
“That’s not how you make a wish, Killua! You have to blow them off, not pick them off. If you pick them off it seems like you’re doing a different thing,” Gon injected in the middle of Killua picking them off.
“Shut up, you should have been more specific! You said they blow off into the wind, you didn’t specify how!” Killua retorted, turning to look at Gon in return. Gon stuck his tongue out and Killua jumped on him, jokingly fighting him. After, Gon pointed out that his dandelion was gone. “Shit! Now I’ll have to find another one,” Killua got up to go find one and Gon followed him, helping in the search.
