In the aftermath of finding out Simon can lay eggs, Grace and Simon decide to try and start a family. Of course, there is a lot left to figure out and understand. Grace is more than willing to rise to challenge. Simon is just happy that Grace doesn't think he's a complete monster.

Summary
Two years after arriving on Erid, Dr. Ryland Grace has built a new life for himself with his Eridian family and students. Twice a year, Rocky and Grace do orbital sweeps around Erid to make sure the astrophage has died for good, just to cover all their bases. But on this trip, Grace notices something he never had before. A moon, not far off, covered in an ocean of blood.
Coming in closer, the complex Eridian instruments pick up on something below. Somehow, the ship is able to tap into a radio frequency from someone on the planet. And it sounds almost... human.

Summary
Simon faced a God and survived. He's not sure if its either in spite of or because of. What he does know is that his universe cannot have produced a man as incredible as Ryland Grace.
But it seems the God is not yet done with him, and Grace has only started.
This fic is mostly to satisfy the part of my brain that likes nitty gritty world building details, and I want to watch Simon and Grace be gentle to eachother and feirce to the world, and I want to put them in a lab
