"Today is… is weird day.” Another pause, long enough to make Shane wonder if he should speak this time, but Ilya continues eventually. “Is anniversary of mama's death.”
"Oh, Ilya,” he says now, the words coming out soft and hesitant. “I didn't know, I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" He grimaces, really wishing he was better at this. "Sorry, stupid question."
It draws a chuckle from Ilya, the familiar sound immediately making warmth spread in his chest.
____________Ilya needs him and of course Shane is there for him.

Summary
Keeping their relationship a secret wasn’t necessarily easy when they worked at different channels, and it definitely became a little harder once Ilya started working at Shane’s channel, but now that they were co-anchors, it seemed impossible. Shane knew it was only a matter of time before someone on their show team figured them out.

Summary
This thing with Rozanov – it's gotten a little out of hand. It started years ago, when they were both new on the job and stupidly nervous. They'd ended up at the same hotel during a series of clippers somewhere in Ontario, and somehow a night of griping about the realities of field reporting ended with Shane spread out in Ilya's bed.

Summary
Ilya quickly put two fingers in his mouth to shut him up, but Shane moaned even louder at the action.
Unbeknownst to them, poor, young Luca Haas had stumbled out of the bathroom near them and almost yelped when he turned in their direction. Their teammates laughed at him all the way to the bar when he tried to recount what had him looking like a ghost.
So here Shane was: delirious, hard, and pleasantly sucking Ilya’s fingers pumping in and out of his mouth against a club wall.
5 times Shane’s oral fixation gets him and Ilya in trouble +1 time it’s just for them.
